The Deltech MR16 High Power Lamps will replace the widely used Low voltage dichroic halogen lamps mainly found in down lighters and spot lights.
The Deltech MR16 High Power LED lamps (12 volts) are an exact replacement for a standard Dichroic MR16 lamp (12 Volts). Typical examples for the application of these lamps are lounges, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms and display lighting.
The Deltech MR16 High Power Lamps offer a vast saving on running costs. For example the 5 watt cool white MR16-M7W is equivalent to its 50 watt halogen rival, this offers an average saving of 90% (guidance only).The energy savings are long term as the average life of the Deltech High power MR16 LED lamp is rated at 30,000 hours compared to a usual maximum of around 1,000 hours for its mains voltage MR16 equivalent.
The low voltage Deltech MR16 High Power LED lamp is a good alternative to standard dichroic lamps but with the extra energy savings they are a far better lamp.
The Deltech MR16 High Power LED Lamps come in various colour temperatures.

Please note that these Deltech MR16 High powered LED Lamps are not dimmable with any type of dimmer switch.
You can mix MR16LED warm white lamps with normal mains voltage halogen GU10 lamps in the same area or room.
MR16 LED lamps work best with power drivers, followed by toroidal transformers. MR16 LED Lamps will work with most electronic transformers but this will decrease the average lamp life to approximately 50% of quoted average life.
