EXERGI MR16 LED light bulbs (New model)  are designed to replace existing 12v low voltage MR16 halogen light bulbs.This brand new lamp has been re - engineerd to be a direct replacement it will work on the majority of transformers that start with 20 VA.

So there is no need to replace your existing transformer.offering massive energy savings of up to 95% over regular MR16 halogen light bulbs. Fitted with unique HyperBright techonology and world-leading CREE semiconductors, the EXERGI LED is one of the brightest MR16 LED light bulbs currently on the market.

EXERGI   Low voltage retro-fit replacement lamps are designed to work with electronic transformers.

Not only do they last longer than halogen light bulbs, they also outlast other brands of LED light bulbs. Compared to other commonly-available  an EXERGI 3.6W MR16 produces a brighter light at a lower energy and lasts 20,000 hours longer.

  • I ordered a combination of exergi warm white/cool white and mr16 exergi's and was extremely pleased at their appearance and brightness. Exactly the same size as the original GU10, the cool white gave an excellent clinical appearance for my surgeries, and the warm white was almost identical to the original bulbs, so were perfect for my waiting areas and reception. Excellent service as well,prompt and courteous. I'll definitely recommend you. Thanks

  • I have recently replaced 6 x 35w Halogen bulbs in a bathroom with 6 of these. Reducing my 210 watts to just 24 watts. I went for the cool white as they have 30 extra lumen than the warm white and the cool white go well in a modern white and blue bathroom. It is a little strange when walking from a CFL warm white room into the cool white LED bathroom but once in the bathroom the light is very pleasent and natural. On paper these bulbs should have provided more light as they have a higher watt equivalence but in reality the overall light level is noticibly lower. To be honest I was expecting this and the halogen bathroom lights were in fact too bright for the space anyway. I am glad that I have 6 of these in a small bathroom and they are surface mounted as the 38 degree spread on these is also a lot less than the spread on the 38 degree halogens that they have replaced. These are working fine on the TLC premium transformers I was using to run the halogen bulbs. Overall I am very pleased with these as a replacement as they address the serious heat issue experienced with the halogens whilst saving money on energy at the same time.
  • Don't be fooled these aren't as bright as you are led to believe (no pun intended) despite some of the reviews and is not a direct replacement for normal 50 watt MR16. I bought them to replace 4 x 50w halogens within a small bathroom (200w) obviously with saving power in mind. While the light emitted is a clinical bright white (ideal for bathrooms) the light intensity dramatically falls off with distance (and this is a standard height bathroom) with very little light at 1 metre from the ceiling. I even dropped the led to touch the glass within the down lighter to get that extra distance assuming that the beam angle was getting interfered with internally but with no detectable difference. But don't get me wrong there is enough light for general background light but not enough say for shaving, so its back to the halogens and replace the 20 watts halogens in the garden. Either that or put more down lighters in, but four in a small bathroom should be adequate. Obviously very disappointed at this price. My advice is to hang onto to your money and wait for future advances in technology (better heat-sinking and more power but about another ?10.00 more).
